Olympiacos of many changes was defeated by PAOK a few days after its European triumph

Clearly more competitive in the second set, the visitors took a 4-2 lead, before PAOK hit the gas again and took a 14-10 lead. Piraeus stayed close to the score, but eventually PAOK managed to escape with 19-14, making it 2-0 with 25-18.

Olympiacos counter-attacked and came close to the point (19-18), but PAOK did not lose their composure, eventually taking the third set, 25-22.
