He did not want to lose… And so LeBron James with the important contribution of Malik Monk took the Lakers by the hand and with great appearances in the last period they managed to celebrate in the end the 122-114 victory against the Kings. James scored 14 of 31 points and Monk 11 of 24 in the final period with the Lakers reaching their fourth win in their last five games and their overall record at 20-19.
The Kings had a good night with Fox and Hild. The former scored 30 points and the latter 26, but the support they had from their teammates was negligible, resulting in their record falling to 16-23.
An important point in the match and what the Kings are complaining about was the phase at 119-114 which they consider to have effectively put an end to any hopes they had for victory. What happened; Fox did not touch the ball but saw the time running and asked the referees to watch the replay. They gave Jambol something that irritated Fox and his coach, as the Kings lost possession and a great opportunity to reduce.
