The national basketball team will play two more very big friendlies on the way to the World Cup (25/8-10/9). The “official favorite” will host in the historical tournament “AEGEAN Acropolis” Serbia of Nikola Jokic on August 8 and Italy two days later in OAKA.
It is reminded that the two friendlies with Slovenia will precede it Luka Doncicon August 2nd in Ljubljana and two days later in OAKA, while the Greek team will play the USA on the 18th and Germany on the 19th of the month in Abu Dhabi.

The AEGEAN Acropolis tournament is back again this summer and is set for three days of many… stars in OAKA. Greece, Serbia and Italy will meet on August 8-10, on the way to the 2023 World Cup!
The curtain will open with the Greece-Serbia match (8/8), it will continue with the match between Serbia-Italy (9/8) and Italy-Greece (10/8) in a very strong tournament, in which it is certain that the The National Team will once again feel the love and support of the people, just before leaving for another big date!
The Acropolis tournament was born in 1986 and hosted at the “Peace and Friendship” stadium, Serbia and Italy are no strangers to the tournament. Italy have been in the top three 13 times and topped the final rankings three times, while Serbia have competed five times, reaching the top twice. A total of 27 countries and six mixed teams or colleges from the USA have competed. Since 2005, the “home” of the tournament is OAKA.
