THE Spain struggled to hold on to a 1-0 lead against Norwaybut at 81st minute Luis De La Fuente made the checkmate by passing Joselu into the match.

Two days before his 33rd birthdaythe born in… Stuttgart Spanish striker has finally had his baptism of fire with the Rojas, cashing in on a very good season with Espanyol – and having previously had spells at Celta, Real Madrid, Hoffenheim, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hannover, Stoke, La Coruna, Newcastle and Alaves!

This was… The experienced striker managed to score twice until 85′ (!) sealing the win for the Iberians and making perhaps the most impressive debut we’ve seen in a while.

Joselu became the first player of Spain to score two goals on his debut as a substitute, as well as the first to do so regardless of whether he started exactly 25 years ago.

Then, on March 25, 1998, Mr Fernando Moriendes he had done something similar while playing as a starter against Sweden.
