With 42 goals in 37 appearances, it is safe to say that the Erling Haaland has dispelled any doubt as to whether he would adapt to England.

And it can in Manchester City rubbing their hands together, yet in the back of their minds there is always the fear that within the next few years the Norwegian will leave to play in Real Madrid.

So, according to the Sun, they intend to offer him new, hegemonic contractwhich will yield him over half a million pounds weekly!

The young goalscorer is currently on £375,000-a-week, with his contract running until 2027. As reported by the British newspaper, the “citizens” want to extend it for another year, while increasing his earnings – which could reach 30 million pounds a year, turning the 22-year-old player into highest paid Premier League player.
