The fierce Bulls “crushed” the Lakers and are aiming for the playoffs! The Chicago team was comfortable with 118-108 from Los Angeles with Zac LaVine reaching them 32 points and put LeBron James and company at risk.
In shallow waters moved the “King” who scored 16 points and came off the bench for the second time in his career to help Darwin Ham’s team. A worthy supporter of LaVine is DeRozan who scored 17 points, sharing 9 assists.
The Lakers managed to take the lead with 12-9, but the Bulls responded quickly by closing the first period, being in front of the score with a three point difference (29-26). In the second period, Zach Lavin started the engines and with great accuracy from the three-pointer helped the Bulls escape with 12 (42-30). The American’s crescendo continued, with DeRozan putting his hand in as well, bringing the score to +8 (63-55).
In the second half, the visitors improved their defense and opened the gap to 19 points (76-57) before five and a half minutes were even completed. The Lakers could not react even though LeBron James returned to the court, with the third twelve minutes ending with the difference at +13 in favor of the Bulls (91-78). The hosts were quite misguided in attack and vulnerable in defense, resulting in the Chicago team reaching +21 (107-86). Just before the end, the Bulls slowed down and the Lakers reduced the difference to 10 points for the final 118-108.
Leading for the “bulls” in Los Angeles were LaVine with 32 points and 4 assists and DeRozan with 17 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds.
For the losers, LeBron had 19 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes, Brown had 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals and Davis had 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
The twelve minutes: 26-29, 55-63, 78-91, 108-118
