Austria made it 2/2 with a reversal – Sweden first “three points” with five points

It was “dark” against Estonia Austria, which, however, in the end managed to celebrate its second victory in the 6th qualifying group. The Austrians beat Estonians 2-1 with a reversal. At the same time the Sweden crushed Azerbaijan 5-0 taking her first win in the group.

In Linz, Austria in the 17th minute missed a great opportunity to open the scoring as o Gregoric couldn’t score from the penalty spot. Instead, Estonia opened the scoring in the 25th minute with Rotten.

The home team, however, did not give up. Although they encountered intense difficulties, they managed to make a turnaround. In the 68th minute, Keynes made it 1-1. The Austrians increased their pressure even more to get their second goal which would give them the win. And that -finally- came in the 88th minute with him Gregoricwho had missed the penalty, to score and give the second victory to the Austrians.

In the other group match, Sweden managed to get their first win in the group, after losing to Belgium in the first match. The Swedes they needed a goal in the 38th minute to “break” the defense of Azerbaijan, which tried but failed to give the Scandinavians a break, and then things became easy.

THE Forsberg opened the scoring for them Swedes who, without charging, doubled their goals in the 65th minute with one own goal of Mustafaja, when the ball hit him and changed course. The 3-0 was made by You guys in the 79th minute, Carlson in the 88th minute the 4-0 and the final 89th minute o Elanga the final 5-0.
