The Nuggets took the derby with the Sixers 116-111, with Nikola Jokic taking advantage of the injured Joel Embiid’s absence and posting 25 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists for his 29th triple-double of the season. Tyreese Maxey had 29 points for Philadelphia, which also played without the injured James Harden and lost ground for second place in the East to 49-26 and the Celtics to 52-23.
In the playoffs, the Timberwolves (39-37), dropping seventh to the Warriors (39-37), after the big 119-115 win in Sacramento. Minnesota had seven scorers in double figures, with Rudy Gober tallying 16 points and as many rebounds. Fox with 29 and Sabonis with 24 points fought more for the third in the West Kings (45-30).
The playoffs are even stronger Pelicans after a 124-90 win in Portland. Brandon Ingram had 29 points for New Orleans, which improved to 38-37 and is eighth in the West.

Finally, the Knicks embraced their presence in the playoffs, since they crushed the Rockets 137-115 with 40 points by Immanuel Quickley.
