by

An incredible scene took place after Sweden beat Azerbaijan 5-0 for the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The coach of the national team, Jane Andersonappeared for statements on the panel of television commentators, but he was initially very aggressive and the conversation turned into an unprecedented fight.

It all started when the commentator asked the national coach about Jesper Karlsson’s short playing time in the last two games, which caused Yane Andersson to explode. “Who shouldn’t be playing then? Isak or Gyokeres?“, he said annoyed, with Bojan Djordjic replying: “It’s nothing personal, I have a question!». The coach then bailed. “If you were a coach, do whatever the hell you liked. I can’t take this whining anymore! We just won 5-0 and you’re crying!“, he said, waving his hand dismissively. “Why are you waving your hands at me like that? I asked a question!Bojan Djordzic said.

“I’m not here to listen to all that bullshit. I don’t feel like talking to you. I’m sitting here after a 5-0 and I have to give you an explanation?“, replied the coach. “You don’t have to, but you represent 10 million people,” the commenter continued. “Who do you represent?Jane Andersson asked, which Bojan Djordjic took as a nod to his Serbian background. “Sweden! What, are you implying that I should represent another country? Serbia perhaps? Why are you so aggressive? Its a shame! A shame, for a national team coach“, he replied. The last word belonged to the coach. “If I came here after a 3-0 defeat, I would understand. But to come here after a 5-0 and have to defend against you? Bye!“, he said and left.

The issue went viral in the Swedish press, with the channel and commentator na require a public apology from the coach for his behavior and to call on the football federation to take a stand.
