THE Panathinaikos was defeated by Olympiakos in SEFwith the “red and white” winning the A1 women’s basketball title and the “clover” expressing through the match report complaints about arbitration.
On the website of the Amateur, the match is titled “against everything” and within the text it is stated, among other things, that:
“The “greens” fought with all their strength against everyone and everything in the series of finals with dietary duo (Ziogas-Christinakis) to steal the show today. Without Reed and me 5 vs 7 the athletes of coach Capogiannis played a very good game but as in the two previous matches of the series they were neutralized… when and where they had to be.
With the shots being today 23-10 in favor of Olympiakos (remember 4-14 in Leoforos and 20-9 in the first final) and surgical whistles when necessary the “greens” were deprived of victory».
