The deputy in charge of disciplinary proceedings for football offences, Deputy Prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis, initiated disciplinary proceedings against PAE Olympiacos.
The disciplinary action is being taken because PAE Olympiacos insulted and defamed football authorities and bodies by making public adverse statements, i.e. statements containing an insult to another’s honor and which contain accusations of intentionality or deceit or bias in making decisions which objectively can to damage the honor and reputation of the persons to whom they concern, and were disseminated by means of communication (refers to the position of PAE Olympiacos expressed on 29/3/2023).
The above act is foreseen and punished disciplinary by the provisions of articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 20A§§1,2, 26 of the Disciplinary Code of the E.P.O.
