The 200 victories in the Basket League were “caught” by George Bartzokas after his dominance Olympiakou over Karditsa (92-61) for the 21st matchday of the championship.
As ESAKE reports, the Greek coach reached 200 wins in his 298th game in the first division. Also, in the same game, Kostas Papanikolaou with the three defensive rebounds he became the 4th player of the “red and white” on the relevant list with 776, surpassing Panagioti Fasoula which had 774 in the six-year period 1993-1999.

Olympiacos extended its unbeaten streak through the match against Karditsa Biological Village, however this victory had an additional value for its coach. Giorgos Bartzokas entered the list of coaches who reached 200 career victories.
The Olympiakos coach, through his 298th game on the benches of the division, reached 200 victories. It is a number reached by 10 other coaches before him, from A’ National team pay (since 1962-63).

*With the three defensive rebounds he had against Karditsa Biological Village, he became the 4th on the historical list of the “red and white” in the Basket League. He reached 776 and surpassed Panagiotis Fasoulas who had 774 in the six years 1993-1999.
*With his unique cap, he “climbed” to the 4th place in this historic list of Olympiakos. He reached 96 and surpassed Nikola Milutinov who had 95 in the four years 2015-19.
However, three other Olympiacos players reached some achievements through the game with Karditsa Biological Village…
*Kostas Sloukas with his seven points became the 11th player in the history of the “red and white” in the Basket League to exceed 1,400 points.
At the same time, the international guard, having an accurate three-pointer (1/4), “caught” Milos Teodosic in the 6th place on the relevant list of Olympiakos.
*Sasha Vezenkov had seven rebounds and with them, “climbed” a place on the Piraeus list. He reached 446 and is now 16th after surpassing Vassilis Spanoulis who had 442.
*Giannoulis Larentzakis sets a bow for 2,000 career points. With the 18 he had against Karditsa Biological Village, he surpassed 1,900 in his 247th appearance in the Basket League.
*At the team level, Olympiacos closed the game with an impressive streak that constitutes a new record for this year’s Basket League. He “ran” a 23-0 that turned the 69-61 of 34:50 into the final 92-61 and thus surpassed the streak of 19 unanswered points of Apollon Carna against Lavrio Megabolt in the 6th and of Panathinaikos against Aris in the 12th game.
