Full attack from Olympiakos, who with his official position comments on the appointment of the Croatian referee, Fran Jovic, in the upcoming derby with Panathinaikos at Leoforos.
“Red and white” refers to “gang” which puts “once again a bomb in the foundations of the championship”while requesting the intervention of FIFA/UEFA and the State.
In fact, he argues that if there are no immediate interventions, then “The responsibility for what happens will be theirs and not only the dangerous ones of EPO and KED”.
Olympiakos’ position in detail:
Baltakos, Bennett, Mandalos and the rest of the gang once again put a bomb on the foundations of the Championship.
Ignoring real football, the teams and what they asked for, they appointed a referee who is not elite and comes from a much lower league than the Greek one.
The agreement and the demand of the teams was clear: Elite referees in derbies and 1st division referees only if they are from the ten biggest leagues!
With everything that preceded and despite Bennett’s “assurances” that for the next three matches there are elites who have agreed to come, they appoint such a referee in the biggest Greek derby and the most crucial match so far in the Championship. They couldn’t (because they didn’t want to) even find a referee from the ten biggest leagues.
There is no more room for words. We call on the supranational FIFA/UEFA Federations and the State to intervene in these disgraces and to appoint an elite referee or otherwise the responsibility for what happens will be theirs and not only the dangerous setups of the EPO and the KED.
