Wild wood during the arraignment of those arrested for fan violence

Damn it Yannena! Sunday morning, at 9:00 a.m arraignment of the arrested fans for the incidents that took place on Friday afternoonprevailed great tension outside the city’s Police Station.

The police officers did not put the arrested people through the main entrance of the building to avoid incidents, however incidents and fights were not avoided. The gathered strongly disapproved of the arrested persons entering one by one with policemen, while some they moved menacingly towards them attempting to lynch them. Some managed to hit them, but the police quickly intervened and fled towards the arrested building, removing those who attacked them.

It is recalled that on Friday afternoon, five people attacked four youths, aged 20, 29 and 30, with clubs. All four were taken to hospital, while the 30-year-old is hospitalized in critical condition and will undergo surgery. The other two victims of the fan violence attack are seriously injured, while the fourth is more lightly injured.

All 8 arrested are accused of fighting and violation of the Law on amateur and professional sports, while 4 of them are also charged with attempted murder and violations of the Weapons Law.
