The Kings brought the Warriors to their knees with “hot” Fox-Monk

The Kings didn’t show up in their first match for the NBA playoffs anything but… bewildered. The Sacramento team did not chew against the champions Warriors and prevailed 126-123 home at the Golden 1 Center, maintaining home court advantage.

Leading for the winners was Foxwho finished the match with 38 points (4/8 three-pointers), while Monk had 32 (14/14 shooting), with Sabonis having 12 points and 16 rebounds. For the Warriors, Curry had 30 points, Klay Thompson 21. Andrew Wiggins returned and scored 17 points.

The match was a thriller in the finale. Four minutes before the end, the Warriors they took a 112-114 lead on Curry’s 3-pointer, with the home team going on a 7-0 run for a 119-114 lead. At 47.9”, the visitors reduced the lead with a basket by Curry for 124-123, but Monk with two shots… blew the whistle.
