FIBA excludes Russia from the next Olympic Games!

The ongoing war in Ukraine it has not stopped influencing sports either.

With the Russian teams, the country’s national team and Russian athletes remaining out of interclub and international competitions, it seems that this will not change even in Paris Olympics in 2024, at least as far as basketball is concerned!

Specifically, despite her proposal International Olympic Committee to allow Russian athletes to return to the Games, herself FIBA took the initiative to exclude her national of Russia from the Olympic qualifiers, meaning there will be no way for the latter to secure qualification to the Paris.

In fact, the position of Russia in Pre-Qualifying Tournaments Bulgaria is expected to get, of Sasha Vezenkov!
