Italian taxi driver… explains the Immobile accident with the tram!

by

His… own version of his conflict Ciro Immobile by tram on Easter day, given by a Rome taxi driver, who makes the same route every day.

So “Marco”, as he is known on social media, initially reported that it is very likely that both the Lazio striker (who was in his car with his children) and the tram driver started both with a green signal. Thus, this mechanical failure on the road of the Italian capital led to the accident in question.

However, he then expressed a second opinion, stressing that Immobile started with Red light, as a result of the great damage it caused, as three more people were slightly injured.

“The problem I personally faced was with the traffic light that regulates the traffic on the privileged route meant for public transport, the disabled, the NCC and us taxi drivers.

The first malfunction was that the lights can signal red for a very long time. So I’ve seen co-workers get pinned in front of me for endless minutes, and someone might end up crossing the intersection very carefully just to pass.

We stay still for up to twenty minutes. But the opposite also happens, the green light only lasts for two or three seconds, then it turns red again. And so you find yourself stuck at the intersection, but you’re in the middle of the road with a red light.

Meanwhile, those coming in cars see the green light in front of them and do not brake. I heard the words of the Immobile and read those of the tram driver and they seemed very determined to claim that they had passed on green. Given what I experienced and my other colleagues who responded to the chat, this could indeed have happened. It wouldn’t surprise me,” stated among other things in Corriere dello Sport.
