The upward trend of the last few weeks was confirmed on Friday night (21/04) by Veronaas, after the double against Sassuolo and the draw at Napoli, came the big home win against Bologna with 2-1, in the match that opened the curtain of the 31st season of Serie A!
The big star for the home team was none other than Simone Verdi, who scored both of his team’s goals. Initially, the 30-year-old Italian striker opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time from white penalty spot, to come himself in 62′, and with close head at the back post to give his team a two-goal lead.
