THE Panathinaikos entered her playoffs with a right hand Basketball Leagueas he defeated him Colossus of Rhodes by a score of 85-76, making the series 1-0.

THE Christos Serelis he spoke at the press conference about the bad fourth period that the “greens” had and put Kolossos in the match, while he also commented on the reasons that led him to the decision to cut him Nate Waltersstressing that he was still unprepared due to injuries.

What the coach of Panathinaikos said at the press conference:

“We played a game that looked like we didn’t have the energy we should have. We were in control of the score and had a chance to gain a difference during the match.

For the start of the fourth period: “The bad things started from the previous three periods. Going into the fourth period the difference should have been 15 instead of 5 points and that is clearly due to our mistakes. We had a lot of bad picks and rolls. With any team you play and you get to the point of not finishing it but the difference being 5 points shows something. There are other numbers though, the many mistakes we made, the points we conceded by surprise. It was clear from the first 5 minutes to the end of the third quarter, we had to clean up the game.”

For Walters’ cut: “Nate made a big effort to come back and be 100 percent. The game we had set to see his condition was the game against Partizan. We weren’t sure of his readiness and he was forced to be cut from the starting line-up.”
