Posted on Pristina’s charges of attempted bribery of Greek referees Zaharis and Kardaris, its team Treptsa.
Through an official post on Social Media, the Kosovo club clarified that it has nothing to do with the accusations against her, stressing that she is completely clean and does not engage in off-court games, which have nothing to do with basketball.
Treptsa’s answer:
“We carefully read the announcement released by Pristina, that there were attempts to manipulate the last semi-final of the play-offs. Our association is not and does not feel part of these developments. Treptsa is absolutely clean and does not deal with things that have nothing to do with the sport.
In this case, we are talking about “games” off the floor. Therefore, we call on the relevant investigative bodies of the state and the Basketball Federation of Kosovo to do their job and debunk Pristina’s claims. We will insist as a club that not only these allegations but also all suspicions of irregularities in Kosovo basketball in recent years are cleared up. We do not allow our name to be defamed.
With dedication and determination we will protect our work, our sweat and the image of the club. We will pursue this case to the end and insist that all alleged irregularities are disclosed. We repeat, as a club we are completely clean and in no way are we involved in these developments”.
