by

Girona leveled Real and Barcelona… celebrate! Carlo Ancelotti’s team “surrendered” to the appetites of the impressive Castegianos who scored all four of the Catalans’ goals (4-2) and finally said goodbye to the league seven games before the end!

Impressive achievement by the Argentinian striker of Girona who became the first footballer to score a “frame” against the Madrilenians who are now -11 from Barcelona who are preparing… a championship fiesta!

Almeria is welcomed by Real Madrid for the next matchday, Girona travels to Andalusia to face Sevilla!

In the competitive part, Castegianos shocked Real after just 12 minutes of the game with a terrific header making it 1-0. The Argentinian striker scored in the 24th minute, beating Lunin with an excellent finish for 2-0! Real showed signs of life in the 34th minute when, after Asensio’s assist, Vinicius reduced the score to 2-1, which was also the score of the first half, with a header.

In the replay, Castegianos needed less than a minute to reach a hat-trick as he beat Lunin for 3-1 with a perfect spot. Ancelotti made changes, however the Italian’s choices did not “brake” Castegianos who with an impressive move and an excellent header in the 62nd minute completed the historic frame by writing 4-1! The only thing Real Madrid managed to do was reduce the final 4-2 with Lucas Vazquez in the 85th minute of the match
