A whole season’s worth of work in one game. Levadeiakos drew 2-2 with Panaitolikos in a game that was decided by the decisions of one of the referees of the match, the elite Tassos Sidiropoulos.
The Greek referee became negative protagonist in a game whose result was decided not only in the last minute which can be ascertained if one “superficially” watches the “match film”, but afrom the decisions he made throughout his life.
Decisions that they “stole” a great victory from the Livadia team in Agrinio, which would set different data in the play-off standings. Because with the conquest of the three points, Levadeakos with 26 points, thus one less than Lamia, would have a much better chance of staying. Instead, now the “green” players they are in a dire positionscoring but also psychological as they are invited in the next two matches to fight for something that now seems difficult.
The voices of Levadeakous so it is Sidiropoulos’ gross mistakes are justified which failed to live up to the dietary category to which it belongs, and it was supposed to be a certainty for an arbitration… fifty. An arbitration which in this case would result in a match with winner Levadeiakos.
We have and say… A game with a total of 20 (!) minutes of delays, that is, a little less than 1/3 of the total duration of a match. Eight minutes of delay in the first 45 minutes and another 12 minutes in the second.
An abortion that was not given. That of Kolovos, who should have received the red card from the very first part of the match. And a dismissal that changed everything in the game, as Levadeiakos would go to the dressing room at half-time with two goal lead, with a numerical advantage over Panaitolikos who had to react without having one of their main attackers, to fight for the overthrow. THE change of Kolovos at the beginning of the second 45 minutes shows something…
And yet there are other decisions that Levadeiakos calls out. The penalty(?) which is given eone and a half minutes after the delay time indicated by himself.
End, the decision of Sidiropoulos to give a penalty shows a lot for which although -initially- he insisted on his decision, he took it back with the use of VAR.
