“Forbes” tribute to Olympiakos: “The best team outside the NBA”

The well-known American magazine “Forbes” paid a great tribute to the “red and whites”, whom it characterizes as “top team outside the NBA”!

The author of the text, Mark Dicksfirst deifies him Sasha Vezenkovemphasizing that the Bulgarian forward has evolved from a roll player to perhaps the best player in the league, as he will probably be named MVP of the year!

“Vezhenkov is the heavy favorite to win this season’s MVP award as no one else in the competition demands as much defensive game planning from opposing teams. Olympiakos’ strategy around Vezenkov with the rest of his roster has led him to rise to the top of every competition he has participated in”says the tribute.

Deeks then praises Olympiacos’ outstanding numbers on both ends of the floor, commenting that his team Giorgos Bartzokas he has managed to be elite in both defense and attack. In the end, he also refers to the fact that this team has been built in a rational way and on solid “foundations”, since the “red and whites” have already started renewing “key” players such as Walkup and McKissick.
