He got serious, stepped on the gas in the second half and a title step in Bremen Bayern Munich!
The Bavarians prevailed away from home with 2-1 Werder Bremen for its 31st matchday Bundesliga and they edged closer to an 11th consecutive league title, extending the gap to four points from Dortmund, who have a game in hand.
In his match, his team Tuchel they may have been in control in the first few minutes, but they struggled to create the phase that would have given them the goal. The first big moment happened in the 21st minute when o Pavar he headed in from a corner, but Pavlenka impressively told him “no”.
In the 35th minute, Werder Bremen… responded to Pavar’s chance, when Gross made a very nice move, passed whoever he saw… in front of him, but his finish was not good and went over the goal.
The first half did not have any other noteworthy moment, with both teams not taking any chances in their efforts and going to the locker room with a 0-0 draw. In the second half, the Bavarians came in aggressively, they initially missed an important chance with Mane in the 56th minute, but in the 62nd minute, Gnabry opened the scoring with a nice finish in the right corner.
Ten minutes later, specifically in the 72nd minute, the German Champions “doubled” their goals, when Mazraoui cleverly saw Sane inside the area and he made it 2-0 with an ideal shot in the left corner.
Bayern, with their advantage, dropped the pace and were not particularly threatened, with the exception of the 87th minute when the home team reduced it to 2-1 with Schmidt’s long shot. Despite falling behind, Werder Bremen didn’t threaten to reach the deficit and Tuchel’s side celebrated a big win on their way to the title!
