This is the top seven of the season in the Women’s Volleyball League

The completion of the season with the crowning of the women’s team of Panathinaikos as champions in this year’s Volley League also meant the selection of the top seven by the organizing Authority, after the relevant vote of the coaches.

With Athina Papafotiou emerging as MVP at the same time, while at her side she has her teammate in the “clover” Martha Anthoulis.

But also Jamila Nizetich, Tatiana Kulikova and Marialena Artakianou from AEK as well as Peyton Caffrey-Lisette Blanco from PAOK.

“With the conclusion of the women’s Volley League championship, E.O.P.E. announces the top seven of the 2022-23 season after a vote by the 12 coaches of the category.

After being named the KYANA MVP of the championship, Athena Papafotiou of Panathinaikos received the most votes for the best passer of the season. Lamprini Konstantinidou of A.E.K. also received votes. and Julia Carraro of Olympiakos.

Martha Anthoulis of Panathinaikos, who was one of the protagonists of the trefoil to win the championship, was voted the top diagonal. Votes were also taken by Giselle Silva of A.E.K. and Sharon Tzumba of Mars.

Marialena Artakianou of AEK was voted the top libero, with Penny Roga of Panathinaikos and Martina Xanthopoulou also receiving votes from the Volley League coaches.

The majority of the votes in the extremes were taken by the American woman of the P.A.O.K. Peyton Caffrey and Argentina of A.E.K. Yamila Nizetich. Votes were also taken by Panathinaikos’ wingers, the American Adora Anae and the Dutch Maret Grotous, the Cuban of A.E.K. Rosir Calderon, Olympic’s Cuban Vilma Salas and Markopoulos’ American Odriana Fitzmaurice.
