Panathinaikos announced the start of the collaboration with Marianna Belia. The 25-year-old libero will strengthen the green team for the next season, after a year at AO Thiras.

“Panathinaikos A.O. announces the start of its partnership with Marianna Belia for the 2023-24 competitive season, for the women’s volleyball division.
The Association made another transfer move with the addition of the 25-year-old (1.65m) libero Marianna Belia.
Belia started volleyball in 2008 at the AEK academies, while from 2014 she was a member of the “yellow and black” women’s team and last year she competed in AO Thiras.
Marianna Belia told pao1908.com: “I am very happy to compete in a team like Panathinaikos, which has been at the top in recent years! It is a great pleasure to be next to such accomplished athletes. Many thanks to the administration and the coach Mr. Kalmazidis for trusting me. For my part, I will do my best to help the team achieve its goals and of course I wish it to be a year full of health.”
