Greek champion in freestyle wrestling is Trebizond and Atlas Kallithea is the women’s champion

One day after PAOK won the Greco-Roman championship, Trebizond became the Greek champion in freestyle wrestling, while Atlas Kallithea won the title in women’s wrestling.

On Sunday, where the “curtain fell” on the event, the country’s best sportsmen and women offered a spectacle and emotions with strong matches and intense action.

The title in Elefthera was won by AKP Trebizond with 129 points, followed by Polinikis Tavrou with 57 and Atlas Kallitheas with 44.

In women’s wrestling, Atlas Kallithea won the title with 33 points, while Eupyridai with 17 points and Demokritio with 10 also reached the winners’ podium.

In addition to the competition, intense and emotional moments were recorded with the surprise cake received by Fotis Papapadakis, who blew out the candles for his 27th birthday with the gold medal in the 61 kg freestyle breaststroke, while the female champions also received applause wrestling who have become mothers, because of the day.

In the meantime, the European champion, Dauren Kurugliev, who lost two technical points on his way to the gold, while he didn’t lose any in the European, was also received with a lot of applause!
