Ready to ship to Final Four of the Euroleague is the Olympic.

The “red and white” have arrived in Kaunas, and o Isaiah Canaan spoke to the Lithuanian BasketNews, where he referred to the very right choice he made in the summer and came to Olympic.

At the same time, the American guard commented on the fact that his teams have never won it Monaco in six matches, while he also talked about what the Piraeus must do in order to reach the end of the road.

In detail what he said:

For Monaco: “If you think about it, they are in the EuroLeague just because they beat us in the Eurocup. As times changed, so did their team. I’m on a different team now, but I’m happy for them and that they were able to reach the EuroLeague and now the Final Four. I’m really looking forward to it and it’s going to be a good game.”

On the importance of the upcoming match: “Everyone will be there and all eyes will be on us. I have been playing this game for 10 years and have been to many high level games in the NBA and playoffs in Europe. But I’ve never been to the Final Four, even though I’ve always watched it since I came to Europe. So I’m looking forward to the experience and the excitement it brings. I wouldn’t have it any other way than to enjoy my first fight.”

On what Olympiacos should do: “We just have to stay focused. What we can’t control is what the media or fans say. We just have to block them out and focus on our task. As long as we do that, we’ll be fine. We have to worry about things we can control — going out and playing this game, giving it everything we’ve got.”

On the fact that he didn’t go to Fener last summer: “I have great respect for Fenerbahçe. I have nothing against them. I try to do everything for my team to win. It was crazy that I had the opportunity to start the playoffs against another team that was trying to get me in the summer, but I feel like I made the best decision. I thought I would suit Olympiacos better.”

For Olympiakos: “I came here to win a championship. That was my biggest motivation. It took me time this season to adapt to the style of play, my teammates and my coaches. But I’m glad to be here. It’s a family. Everyone on this team looks out for each other and wants the best for each other. I want to be in a situation where I’m valued, I can go out there, compete and win at the highest level. Win or lose, the whole season has been a learning experience for me. As long as we’re winning and I’m playing, I’m happy.”

On whether his contract will be renewed: “No, I’m not worried about that. It’s something I don’t control. I only control what I do on the pitch and that’s where my focus is. I let everything else happen by itself.”
