PAOK formalized the agreements with Van De Dries, Russo

Bram Van De Dries will be a PAOK player next season as well. The “black and white” TAA announced the stay of the Belgian international diagonal for the next year, so that the former Panathinaikos player can help the “two-headed” to claim and conquer all the domestic titles.

In detail, the announcement:

“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the renewal of cooperation with the athlete, Bram Van Den Dries, for the 2023-2024 season.

The Belgian winger, born in 1989, “cashed in” on his very good presence last season, which contributed to winning the Greek Cup, staying with PAOK for the second year in a row and fourth overall.

Regarding the renewal of cooperation with PAOK, Bram Van Den Dries stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very happy about the fact that I will be at PAOK for another competitive season. Both I and my family are really happy in Thessaloniki.

I would like to thank the management and the coach for their trust. I hope we have a successful season and achieve our goals again next year.”

Also, De Dries’ compatriot, Thomas Rousseau, became a player of the “two-header”. Thessaloniki have announced the signing of the Belgian international winger for next year to replace Skredou. The 29-year-old ace has been competing in the Polish league for the last five years.

“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Tomas Russo, for the 2023-2024 season.

Born in Belgium on 31/03/1994, Thomas Rousseau plays as a winger and is 199cm tall.

He started his career with Belgian side Knack Volley Roeselare in the 2012-13 season, with which he won the domestic double, while also competing in Europe’s top club competition, the CEV Champions League, then reaching the quarter-finals of the CEV Cup.

The following season he remained with the same team, with which he won the Belgian Super Cup and the championship, reaching the ‘8’ of the CEV Champions League. In the 2014-15 season he played again with the jersey of Knack Volley Roeselare, again winning the Super Cup and the championship.

His outstanding performances earned him the opportunity to compete in the Italian league for Gi Group Monza in the 2015-16 season, gaining valuable performances in one of the top leagues in the world.

In the 2016-17 season, he played in Germany for VfB Friedrichshafen, with whom he won the German Cup and the Super Cup, while reaching the round of 16 of the CEV Champions League.

In the five years 2017-2022, she played in Poland and in Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, GKS Katowice, Asseco Resovia Rzeszow and MKS Slepsk Malow Suwalki, staying at the highest level of European volleyball.

Last season he returned to Italy again for Valsa Group Modena, with whom he won the CEV Cup, making excellent performances.

He is an international player with the Belgian national team, culminating in winning the European Golden League in 2013.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Tomas Rousso stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am quite excited to have come to PAOK. I have heard great things about the competitiveness of the Greek league, but also about the fact that I will be competing in a beautiful country. Protapsaltis is a very good friend of mine and I heard many stories about what it’s like to compete in Greece.

Van Den Dries told me that PAOK is a great destination and the team is chasing titles every season. I hope with my energy to contribute as much as possible so that the team can fight for titles.”
