Panathinaikos made a great move!
The “green” PAE a few days after the serious injury of the young winger of the second team, Miguel Tavareswho suffered a torn cruciate ligament, has proceeded to extend the player’s contract early until the summer of 2027!

“PAE Panathinaikos announces the contract renewal of Miguel Tavares. The Portuguese winger has signed a new contract with the Greens, keeping him at the club until June 2027.
Miguel joined Panathinaikos in the summer of 2022 and immediately developed into a key member of the second team. With the Trefoil jersey, he has played in 18 matches in Super League 2, scoring three goals and providing the same number of assists.
“I want to thank Panathinaikos for the trust it showed me in a difficult time for me. I had a good season, but the injury happened. But I’m not giving up, I’ll work hard to come back, repay the support the Club shows me and let’s achieve success together in the future”, were the first words of the 24-year-old footballer immediately after signing his new contract.”
