Panathinaikos announced the addition of Kyriakos Kamberidis to the coaching staff of the women’s team.
The experienced coach returned to the “clover” as an assistant to Giannis Kalmazidis, while he will assume the role of manager of the club’s academies.
The announcement in detail:
“Panathinaikos A.O. announces the start of its collaboration with coach Kyriakos Kamberidis for the 2023-24 competitive season for the women’s volleyball section and the infrastructure sections of the Club.
Kyriakos Kamperidis takes over the position of assistant coach to coach Yannis Kalmazidis in the women’s department, while at the same time he will be the responsible coach in the development part of the “green” academies.
Coach Kamberidis has previously helped the team return to the Volley League and this season he will strengthen the department with his many years of experience in domestic and European competitions.
In a statement to pao1908.com he said: “I am very happy that the people of Panathinaikos, the management, the technical director and the coach chose me to participate in their vision for the women’s section and for the development of the sections infrastructure of the Association. I will do my best to make the departments of the Association successful.”
