Lazio is wrapped with the “sheet” thanks to… the historic Ciro Immobile! The Italian forward scored the only goal in Lazio’s away victory over her Udinese (0-1) at the “Dacia Arena”, while he himself reached 200 goals with the “eagles” shirt and joined a closed club.
Because he is the third footballer in Serie A with at least two hundred goals in just one team’s shirt this century, something previously only achieved by Antonio Di Natale (Udineze – 255) and Francesco Totti (Rome – 244).
To get that three points for his team Maurizio Sarri and to get closer to the groups, the home team had to look quite misplaced since they had 9 finals in the first part, but without making use of them. Somehow, h Lazio moved up in the second part, took the reins and control resulting in quite a push.
The result of the pressure was the penalty that the guests won, with Immobile to turn it into his team’s lead in the 61st minute, scoring his 12th goal of the season.
With his team Sari to keep with relative comfort until the finale the advantage of the score, reaching a great victory that raised her to 3rd place. At -1 from the second Juventus, at +2 from the fourth Inter and at +4 from the fifth Milan, with the “Lazio” looking for a win in the two remaining matches…
