Felix Brich in the Cup final

A top level referee, Mr Felix Brichwas appointed to officiate the Novibet Hellenic Cup final between AEK and PAOK on Wednesday in Panthessalikos.

The 47-year-old referee has whistled in many great matches in his career, such as the Champions League final between Real and Juventus in 2017, the Europa League final between Sevilla and Benfica in 2014, and the semi-final of the last Euro between Spain and Italy.

Brich had managed four Super League matches: Olympiacos-PAOK 3-0 on 27/01/2021, Aris-PAOK 0-0 on 20/2/2022, PAOK-Aris 0-1 on 11/5/2022 and Olympiacos-Panathinaikos 1-0 on 8/5/2023.

In the past, he has never “whistled” an AEK match, while he has been on PAOK’s road five times. In addition to the three above, he was also in two matches against Benfica in Toumba for the Champions League qualifiers, 1-4 on 29/8/2018 and 2-1 on 15/9/2020.

The German referee, Felix Brych, will referee this year’s Novibet 2023 Hellenic Cup final AEK-PAOK at the Panthessaliko Stadium (Wednesday 24/05/2023, 20:30).
