With the victory of Emmanuel Karalis, his pole vault race at the Limassol athletics meeting was completed. Polyniki Emmanuilidou confirmed her excellent condition, as within a few hours she achieved two individual records and equaled the pan-Hellenic record in the 200 meters K23. The athlete of Katerina Alexopoulou finished second in the distance in 23.18 and equaled the category record, which belongs to Maria Belimbasaki since 2013.

The hammer throw was a Greek affair, with Michalis Anastasakis, Christos Franceskakis and Ivan Menglebei taking the first three places in order.
Anastasakis was the one who had the best shot and took first place with 75.02 on his sixth attempt. The 28-year-old champion started in 71.81, went on to 74.84, had his third shot disqualified, went on to 74.61, was disqualified on his fifth shot and finished the race in 75.02.
Christos Franceskakis showed that he is on the right track and took second place with a best shot of 74.02, his best this year. The 23-year-old champion started the race in 71.09, had two voids, went on to 73.26, followed with 74.02 and finished the race in 72.28.
Ivan Menglebey had a better throw of 73.74 and took third place. The Greek champion started with 71 meters, continued with 72.38, followed by 71.28, 72.23 and 73.74, while in his last throw he was disqualified.
