According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are in contact with Diogo Dalot in order to renew the contract of the 24-year-old defender. In fact, as reported by the Italian journalist, only the last discussions are left to finalize the agreement and for the Portuguese to renew with Eric Ten Haag’s team.
This year he has been outstanding, taking over from Wan Bishaka and making 41 appearances in all competitions with two goals and three assists.

The Portuguese started his professional career in his home country on behalf of Porto, where he played from a young age, while in 2018 he moved to England for Manchester United. In the 2020-21 season he was in Italy and played for Milan on loan, making 21 appearances. He is international with the Portuguese national team 11 times and his purchase value according to transfermarkt amounts to 35 million euros.
