Amidst celebrations for winning this year’s Bundesliga title, Bayern Munich have decided to announce the end of their partnership with Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic, who paid for their options in building a roster that did not perform as expected during the this season.
A few hours after the divorce was made public, the legendary Bavarian goalkeeper and former CEO of the club sent his message through Social Media, sending congratulations and stressing that the management did not allow him to be with the team’s players to celebrate as he would like to win the coveted title.
Oliver Kahn’s post:
“Unbelievable! Great achievement, congratulations guys. I’ve always told you. Always give it your all until the end and never give up. I am proud of you and this achievement. I would like to celebrate with you, but unfortunately I couldn’t be there because I was banned from the club. I’m looking forward to next season”.
