Manchester City: Neymar received a phone call from Pep Guardiola

There was a telephone conversation between Pep Guardiola and Neymar, with the Spanish technician interested in the Brazilian’s future, but the chances of such a move remain low for now.

The departure of the 31-year-old star from Paris Saint-Germain should be considered more than a given, with the Brazilian being a foreign body in Paris. In fact, instead of attending his team’s fiesta, he appeared at the Monaco Grand Prix.

According to Equipe, one of the teams interested in Neymar is Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola having called the 31-year-old ace to find out about his future and his psychological state. The City manager has coached Neymar again during their time together at Barcelona.

His contract may expire in 2027, but it doesn’t seem that he wants to run it out, with City still not gathering many chances to acquire the player.

Manchester United are also on the Paris player’s shortlist with Casemiro trying to convince his compatriot to come to Manchester and the Red Devils.

This year with the jersey of the Parisians he has recorded 29 appearances in all competitions, 18 goals and 17 assists.
