Moubru: “I’m unhappy with some things in Valencia, I’ll talk to the management”

by

For the end of this season Valencia the team coach spoke, Alex Moubro.

The Spanish coach mentioned, among other things, how he is dissatisfied with some things in the team, while he stressed that he will discuss with the administration in the next few days.

His statements in detail:

“I’d be lying to you if I said it wasn’t a difficult season, it was, it was very difficult, from the beginning and for many reasons. We could list everything that has happened to us and right now it would even sound like an excuse, so this is not the time to say goodbye. But yeah, it’s been a tough year. If I have the strength to continue? Yes, I feel strong because there have been difficult times that you know why they have happened and what has happened. The problem is when it happens and you don’t know why. You analyze them during the year and you know that you are in situations like the one we had during the year.

We just finished and we should talk. I have a contract here and I didn’t come for a year but for a project, but it is clear that when there is such a difficult season, it is normal for everyone to think and have their assessments and that they are not good for the season that came out because you feel very difficult moments in the year. Everything always gets complicated, but it’s time to sit down with the club, talk, see what’s next and not now. We’ll review how it went in a bit.

When you finish the season you’re still… hot and disappointed with yourself, with how the year went, with the players. A little bit of everything. It would be unfair to shift the blame. You have to take responsibility and it’s clear that I’m unhappy about a lot of things. If after such a season we were happy we would have a problem. It’s true that there are things I’m quite unhappy with, that’s normal.”
