AEK is a member of Football for the Goals

Member of Football for the Goals is now the AEK.

FFTG is an initiative of United States which provides a platform for the global football community to collaborate and support them Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as adopted in the context of the 70th UN General Assembly.

The aim is to utilize the strong and significant reach of football towards collaboration so that we all become agents of change by aligning our messages, strategies and operations with the ambitions of the SDGs.

This initiative aims to to inspire and guide the world of football – from confederations, national associations, leagues and clubs, to players’ associations, organized fan groups, as well as media and commercial partners – to build on existing sustainability approaches and implement SDG strategies that will lead to behavior change.

Members of Football for the Goals are – among many others – the international federations UEFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, AFC, OFC, the National Football Associations of Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Romania, Mexico, but also Greece and Cyprus, the leagues of France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, clubs such as Ajax, QPR, Cadiz and institutions of teams such as those of Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Leicester and Inter.
