PAOK won the Olympic Gangle!

“PAOK, and the Women’s Polo department, announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Edina Gangle, for the 2023-2024 season.

Born in Hungary on 25/06/1990, Edina Gangle plays as a goalkeeper and is 181cm tall.

She is an athlete with a long and rich career, mainly competing in the Hungarian championship, on behalf of UVSE, with which she won several domestic titles, while also competing in the Euro League.

In the past two seasons, she came to our country for the first time, competing with the ANOG cap, contributing the most to the successful course of the Attica team.

At the national level, it is an integral part of Hungary. In fact, in 2016 he won the gold medal at the European Championships in Belgrade, in 2021 the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, and in 2022 the silver medal at the World Championships in Budapest.

For the start of cooperation with PAOK, Edina Gangle, stated on the Association’s official website, acpaok.gr: “Thank you very much to the head of the water polo department, Mr. Giorgos Nikolaidis. I want to invite the people of PAOK to come to the swimming pool and warmly support us in the new championship of the 2023-24 season. For me it is a challenge to support my teammates as well as the coach, Chrysa Hatzelli. I also want to thank the management of ANOG for the very nice years I spent in the Glyfada team, and I also want to wish them good success”.
