Megaridos BC Youth Center is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Giorgos Arnokouros

Giorgos, 22 years old (12/2000), 2.04 plays in the forward/center positions and started basketball at the Arion Academies in 2005, to be followed by his presence at Athenaikos. From 2013 to 2018 he was in AONA and then he showed the great signs of his great talent. In 2018 and for two years he wore the shirt of Dafni Dafniou, with which he initially celebrated the promotion from the second national team to A2 and then the following season he got his first experiences in. The following year again in the Elite League and Marousi and in the season just concluded he played with Panerythraikos, with whom he averaged 6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists and reached the Final 4 of the Elite League. where for just one match he did not celebrate the promotion to the Basket League.

At the same time, all these years, he is an international player with the small National Teams of our country, with participations in the U19 World Championship and the U21 European Championship.

Giorgos was a burning desire of the coach and we welcome him hoping that we will continue to “rise” together on our way to the Elite League.
