Paulius Iankounas is the new GM of Zalgiris

Important administrative change for the Zalgiris!

The Lithuanian team was looking for its new General Manager, since the previous holder of the position, Paulius Motiegiounasassumed the role of CEO at Euroleague and had to leave his post in Zalgiris for reasons of transparency.

However, the Kaunas team did not take long to find his replacement, after announcing that the position of GM will be taken by Paulius Yankounas. Her “legendary” former player Zalgiris he had held a management position in the team anyway since he retired, so he was the logical choice for the post.
