The President of KOE, Kyriakos Yiannopoulos, will also be in Los Angeles as a member of the World Aquatics bureau.
The federal coach said on the KOE website: “With the Fukuoka World Cup in mind and without stopping our hard preparation, we will travel to Los Angeles for the final phase of the World Cup. We will play three games, knowing for now only our first opponent, which is Hungary.
We will try to compete properly and with a lot of spirit, as our preparation is going so far. Of course, we will aim for victory in every game and our best position in the tournament rankings. And it is imperative that we properly manage, individually and collectively, this long trip to America, just a few days before our departure for another long trip, this one to Japan.”
