The announcement of PAE Atromitos
Panagiotis Tsintotas is a player of our team from this season.
PAE Atromitos announces the start of its cooperation with the goalkeeper, Panagiotis Tsintotas for the next year, with his contract also providing for a renewal option for another season.
Panagiotis Tsintotas started his career from the Academies of the team of his hometown, in Pierikos, with which he took his first professional steps.
In the summer of 2012 he was acquired by Levadeiakos where he stayed until the summer of 2017 and thanks to his performances and talent he attracted the interest of many teams, with AEK winning his signature.
The 29-year-old (4/7/93) goalkeeper managed to establish himself in the Union as one of the main solutions in the “1” position and recorded a total of 89 appearances in the Super League, Greek Cup, Europa and Conference League.
From January 2023 he played in PAS Ioannina, having a total of 15 appearances.
After the formal completion of the agreement, the new goalkeeper of our team spoke to atromitosfc.gr.
“I am very happy that I am now a member of Atromitos, a historic team with a stable course in recent years in Greece. From the first moment that I was approached by the people of the team, specifically the Technical Director, Giannis Angelopoulos, I didn’t have to think much about it to say yes and become a team player, as I consider it an important opportunity for me this club.
Of course, the presence of a great coach like Chris Coleman, whose career speaks for itself, and I’m really glad that his opinion played a role in me coming to Atromitos also played an important role.
I know everything about the team, and about the high goals it has and the level of work in a footballer’s everyday life, so it was not a difficult decision to come to Atromitos. And I will do everything to justify those who chose me, and first of all myself.
Now is not the time for many words. I can’t wait for training to start, to meet my new teammates, but also the goalkeeping coach, Mr. Garofalo, who is a representative of the Italian school, which is one of the best in the world.
I hope this season, which is 100 years in the history of Atromitos, to make our fans happy.”
