I was playing ball, going to training and my child was in the hospital. I was playing and I had my daughter in mind. The morning before training, I went to the hospital to give her a kiss. After training but also before the games I went to see her. I knew that every moment might be the last.

Elena has overcome cancer but is confined to a wheelchair. He will never walk. After the cancer, her brain “froze” by 80%.

My message to parents is not to lose hope and never to leave their children alone! Your child needs you. It was the hardest moment of my life, but my daughter’s smile every day she made the day.
