The best sports tourism organization in Greece, as it has been declared in recent years, the Navarino Challenge, returns for 11the year at 13-15 October 2023, in Costa Navarino and Pylos.
With the message “sport unites” and following him purpose of the Olympic Movement, the Navarino Challenge will collect for another year, people of all ages and capabilities, amateurs and professional participants from Greece and abroad, in a rich program with sports activities for all tastes hosting its guests in the hotels W Costa Navarino, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort.
Together with the Greek-American ultramarathoner Konstantinos Karnazis, the now ambassador of Greek tourism, but also dozens of Olympians and Paralympians, this year’s event will promote the value of participating rather than winning, without competing with more than 40 activities and Olympic sports. At the same time, with the triptych #eatwell #runwell #livewell and recognition as the best wellness program in Europe will promote exercise and proper nutrition, promoting its benefits Messinian diet.

64 awards in 10 years for the top sports tourism event
The Navarino Challenge topped the Sports Marketing Awards 2023 as he conquered 15 awards in said institution, for the 2022 anniversary event.
More specifically 3 Platinum and 11 Gold awards such as:
- The best branding strategy, having the highest score in the whole section, which also brought a Platinum award
- The best native advertising campaign that led to another Platinum award
- The best sponsorship of the entire institution, for the collaboration he had with the Stoiximan, which also received the highest distinction of the third Platinum award
- The best sports/cultural tourism organization
- The best sales strategy
- The best organization in team sports
- The best Multi–Sports Event
- The best health and wellness event
- The best organization for children
- The best summer sports event
- The best sponsorship platform for the collaboration he had with Miele Hellas
Also, it was detached 1 Silver Prize in the category “Most Innovative Use of Content Creators & Influencers for a Sports Related Activity”.
The Navarino Challenge remained in the top of Tourism Awards 2023. In 2023, at 10the year of the institution and of the event itself won the gold award in sports tourism again. More specifically, it was detached 2 Gold Awards in categories “Sports Tourism” and “Health & Wellness Tourism” and 1 Platinum Prize in the category “Integrated Communication Campaign”, garnering the highest score in the highly competitive tourism sector, module “Branding / Media / Public Relations“.
