Olympiacos was strengthened with Tanis

Evangelia Tanis will compete in Olympiakos next season. The “red and white” announced the acquisition of the 19-year-old Aris passer for next year.

In detail, the announcement:

“OLYMPIACOS SFP announces the start of its collaboration with Evangelia Tanis. The international Greek passer (born 22/7/2004, 1.82m) signed her new contract and joins the roster of the club’s women’s volleyball team.

In the last four years (2019-23), the 19-year-old athlete wore the jersey of Aris, while in 2022 she was called up for the first time to our national women’s team. The young passer has been competing with the national team since 2017 and in the age category of Pagorasides.

Evangelia Tani’s statement to olympiacossfp.gr: “It is a great honor to join the Olympiakos family. I am very happy about it! I thank the administration and the coach for the trust they show in me. Olympiacos is a historic team, with a huge history, great organization and professionalism.

I am happy to be in such an environment, where I will train at a high level, with an excellent coach and with teammates, who are marking an important path in the field of volleyball. Olympiacos has been a star in the Volley League for years. I am determined to work concentrated and methodically, helping the team to win the championship and the Cup next year”.
