“OLYMPIC S.F.P. announces the start of his collaboration with Christine Vitola. The Latvian international forward/center (born 2/6/1991, 1.96m), signed her new contract and joins the roster of the club’s Women’s basketball team.
The Latvian forward returned to Greece after the 2021-22 season, when she won the double with Thrylos, with whom she reached the round of 8 of the EuroCup. After her first “term” with the red and white jersey, Vitola moved to the Italian league, specifically, to Ragusa (2022-23), while then she played in Mexico, to Panteras (2023).
Immediately after the announcement of the cooperation of the two sides, the Christine Vitola stated on the Olympiakos website: “I feel happy to have returned to Olympiakos! I liked being in Athens, living there. It’s a beautiful place, where you can play basketball and enjoy the best fans in Europe.
