In the best words, Razvan Bourleanou referred to Greece and the effort it is making, on the occasion of the finals of both the European Super Cup and the Conference League, at the EPO General Assembly.
Representing UEFA, the President of the Romanian Football Federation also referred to the effort of our national team to qualify for the finals of Euro 2024.
Bourlean’s speech in detail:
“You deserve the appreciation of all of us for the effort you put into football every day. I know the challenges you face. Greece is always a source of inspiration for many reasons, but also for the great influence it has on sports. He has left an indelible mark on the history of our beloved sport.
The challenges are ahead of us and I hope that both Greece and Romania will be in Euro 2024. Greece will organize two finals next year. In “G. Karaiskakis” the final of the European Super Cup will be held. In May, the Conference League final will take place at AEK’s stadium. Congratulations on this and I am sure that Greece will rise to the occasion.
Of course I must also refer to the plans for a training center for the National teams in Greece. These plans will also be presented to the relevant UEFA committee in October. This very important project will give you great momentum and will contribute to the development of football in Greece”.
