In detail what the president of the EPO stated at the G.S.
“The main characteristics regarding the EPO in my estimation are the following: The National Team has been very successful and after years it has been promoted, which made us all happy and there is also the matter of a premium for the international players who deserve it.
The second that the finances of the EPO were greatly improved with the assistance of UEFA and FIFA. While last year it was 3 million euros, this year it is 11 million euros, which gives us many possibilities, to strengthen, among other things, the Associations.
The main concern of EPO is to look after and provide for amateur football. If amateur football doesn’t progress, we don’t have academies, young players and ultimately a national team. It is something that makes us very happy. Something we will also try to achieve in the coming year so that the EPS are healthy, not asking but receiving because they are entitled to it.
We believe that this course will continue: for the National Team, which is already doing well, so that we can qualify for the Euros, something that everyone particularly wishes for.
For the coming year we have National again, financial support for the EPS and hopefully more calm in the Superleague championship. We are watching it, we know what happened. I will not go into arbitration matters, it is not an EPO matter».
